He has recorded with such luminaries as Ronnie Milsap and Blake Shelton, and in 2009 he shared the stage with Martina McBride during their co-headlining Shine All Night tour, which generated millions in ticket sales. Raised in Louisiana, Trace Adkins moved to Nashville in the early '90s, making his debut in 1996 with Top 20 country hit "There’s a Girl In Texas." Adkins would release a series of successful albums in the 2000's, including the chart-topping Songs About Me in 2005 and Dangerous Man in 2006. Shortly after winning the competition, Adkins released his first Christmas album The King's Gift and hit the road with The Christmas Show tour, a full-out theatrical production featuring a 12-piece band and a Celtic vocal ensemble. To sum it all up, I spent a weekend alone without seeing the "American Man", stayed across the street from a beach where the ocean was either concealed by fog or rain and then blew another $240.00 at one of the casinos!!Īs the winner NBC's All-Star season of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2013, country artist Trace Adkins proved that his business acumen was as sharp as his songwriting skills. Pleasant, Mississippi to Biloxi and didn't even see Trace Adkins. I spent a bunch of time and money driving all the way from Mt. I admit this situation makes me sound like a complete idiot. It is worth noting that many people stay at this particular hotel because it is the closest to the Coliseum and is within walking distance. The desk clerk at my hotel informed me that another lady had also checked in and stated she was "in town for a concert at the coliseum on Saturday night". So apparently, I was not the only one this happened to. The "will-call lady" told me another woman also asked her that very same question. I nearly threw up and I sure wanted to cry. I went to the will-call window to inquire and that is when I got the awful news that the show was in Jackson, MS, NOT Biloxi, MS. I sensed there was an event going on but it sure was not a Trace Adkins concert. The next night I headed to the "Coliseum" and got a strange feeling. I planned my trip and arrived in Biloxi on December the 2th. So, why would I have received an email about a time change if the show was indeed at 6PM. Everything on the internet that I have seen since this fiasco, has listed the show as starting at 6PM, not 7PM. Unfortunately, I deleted the email after I changed the time on my calendar. I didn't give it another thought until I received an email stating the concert start time was being changed from 6PM to 7PM. I saw the words Trace Adkins and Mississippi Coliseum, as well as the date and time (and that was it). I do admit I just glanced at the ticket when it arrived in the mail. People can and do make mistakes, but I find it hard to believe I did in this case. I am familiar with that venue and did not see any other closer venues listed (including Jackson, MS). Then I was re-routed to Ticketmaster and purchased a single ticket to see Trace on 12-3-2022. 28th) by logging onto the website then clicking "tour" then selecting "buy tickets" for Biloxi, MS (as the location), (or, so I believe). Since ordering my ticket (printed, not mobile), I believed the Trace Adkins December 3rd concert was to be held at the "Coliseum" in Biloxi, MS. Right date, wrong city (Sounds like a country song)!!
